I bought these at the end of January. I've worn them 4 times and it has been constant issues with them. First thing is they rub both of my ankles raw every time I wear them for a full day. A friend of mine bought a pair about the same time, and he's had the same issue. I'm 5'10, 170 lbs. I don't have big ankles and these boots are killing me.The rubber lip at the top of the boots also rubs through my pants and leaves big red marks on my legs for a day or so.The other issue is the buckles. The big buckle on both boots, 2nd buckle from the bottom, gets stuck all the time and doesn't ratchet down like it's supposed to. It also doesn't want to release when you pull up on the lever. Mine started doing this after about the third ride. I think if they get any dirt in that buckle the mechanism fails. My friend had this issue from day 1 though. The other type buckles also break easily. I've also had to replace 2 of them so far. The kit is like 40$ if you have to pay for it and comes with enough buckles for a boot. Thankfully mine came missing a buckle, so the manufacturer sent me a kit for free.I also had the screw that holds then hinge on the side of the boot come out. Luckily, there was a spare in the kit i had.Honestly, I'm sick of these boots and wanted a refund. I was 10 days outside of the return window though. I'm just gonna tape my ankles for until I run out of spare parts. And then I'll cut my losses and get a different brand of boot.Don't waste your money on these. You would be better off buying a better quality boot with less features, like a Sidi or Gaerne, than to buy these.
