Fit as described. Warm insides and comfortable for my kiddo, this is our second year ordering them and we love them. These are great dressy shoes for a kid who hates to dress up.The shoe is a nice comfortable, light shoes for children. My son loves them.Great winter snow/hike boot for the price! I purchased two pair for my 9 yr old twin boys. I bought a youth 6 which gave them some growing room. Youth 6 also fits a women size 8. These boots are definitely sturdy enough for everyday wearing in north Idaho snow days. They wear them to school but are heavier and a bit bulkier than a regular sport hiking boot. They also aren’t going to be warm or heavy duty enough for a full on snow boot... if you were spending all day snowmobiling you’d want a better snow boot but they have been perfect for sledding and normal walking around in the snow and mud. They run true to size. The Velcro tabs on the picture are pulled further because they are a bit big on him but they don’t seem to be too wide nor are they too narrow. They have a crampon type metal piece for ice and traction. My twins love that feature. They sit secure inside the tread and don’t scratch any wood floors nor snag carpet. It is a fun feature.Theyre hard to put on for my 5 year old. These fit my son well and he really likes them. They are soft and fuzzy inside. We have to double knot them or they come untied easily. These boots looked really good on my son's feet. They were a tiny bit larger than I expected, but I think that would have been good for growing room. They were really easy for my disabled 10 year old to put on. They have a nice fuzzy lining to keep feet warm. I was worried the metal on the bottom would be able to be moved too easily or it would flop around, but it was tight. I think only an adult would be able to open those so don't worry about the metal accidentally flipping open.Ultimately I returned them because my son kept undoing and redoing the three Velcro straps and I could see it would become a problem. Not the boots fault at all! He likes straps to line up perfectly and will redo them until they satisfy him. I went with a style with bungee laces across the top of the foot and a single Velcro strap at the top instead to cut down on the amount of Velcro.I haven’t witnessed my son wearing them in the snow yet, so I can’t comment on durability or warmth. They look very nice.
