I have a couple pair of their hiking boots. Really comfortable and they are waterproof like advertised. Good traction through the trails and everglades of south Florida. Not overly clunky or heavy despite their build. Lots of padding to protect your feet with no noticeable hot spots.I feel these boots are better than similar boots by Solomon or merrel, and I’ve owned pairs of each. I felt this boot ran a 1/2 size small, but I have a wider foot so that probably played into it. These boots are super comfy out of the box, day 1, 5 mile hike no issues. I would have preferred a vibram sole to their proprietary rubber, but as this is my first pair of scarpas I’ll see how the sole holds up.This was my first order from Scarpa, and I really liked it. It feels very comfortable even for a heavy hike.Comfortable and lightweight even after hiking milesI've had these boots for a year now, but are a waste of money in the endPros:-Decent Quality-Waterproof-Good TractionCons:-Poor fitment, required heel inserts to not slip, even when boot is correct size.-Blisters on feet from poor fitment-Horrible lace system. While they won't come loose, they do not lace up to provide any support. I don't understand how they made a boot with such a terrible lace system.Get some Salmons or Merrells.
