I tested these out right away on a local trail and I really like them. They are immediately comfy (I ordered a half size up from my street shoes, which I always do with athletic shoes - they are maybe a little big but better too big than too small). They seem well-made and very durable. They are waterproof and give good support to your feet and ankles and the thick sole and treads will protect you from slipping. It is currently rattlesnake mating season in California where I hike and I am happy to have thick heavy protection on my feet. Also, these boots are super cute ?. Highly recommend.
