I’ve had a pair of Vasque Sundowners for 20+ years (2 pairs - 10 years each approximately). But they’ve apparently moved manufacturing to China from Italy and the quality has plummeted. So I started looking for new boots. These are not Vasque boots by any means. As in I don’t anticipate these lasting for 10 years. But these are immediately more comfortable (Vasque takes weeks to break in) and seemingly 90% lighter. When they arrived I thought the box was missing a boot it was so light. Looking forward to a month of hiking in the Rockies with these.
