Update: These things are a year old and have lots of miles one them (we hike a lot of very rocky trails), so now I feel comfortable with giving a real review. I took a flier on these because of the price and I am very glad I did. Not at all sure how the reviews are mixed on these things. They are extremely comfortable and well made. The waterproofing a really good too. I have owned tons of more expensive hiking boots and none have been as comfortable as these. Not nearly warn out yet but I will be buying another pair of these when they do.This company should think about sponsoring somebody hiking the full AT or something - free boots for the hike, etc. Compete with the big guys...Original review... Loving these boots so far. Very comfortable and I think they even look pretty darn good. Have not yet taken them on trail but will do so soon.
