If you have a friend who tells you these are the best hiking boots, unfriend them They are not your friend. If you like "waterproof" boots that start taking on water in multiple places in about 6 months, these are the boots for you.I am not a die-hard hiker. Three or four long mountain hikes a year, and walking my dog on nearby trails. Hardly a rigorous test of quality.Sure, they started out lightweight and comfortable. 4 stars for that. Then it goes downhill fast, and not in a fun way. That Patented "Flex" thing on the instep is the first place that fails to keep your socks dry. It cracks and separates and, unless you never step in wet grass or water deeper than 1", you're coming home with squishy socks. This was less than 6 months in. Then the leather pulled away from the heel. Then the tread pulled away from the sole. I bought these on 8/29/2021. It is now 9/22/2022 and they are in complete ruin. After the first failure, I wrote in to Keen corporate requesting they honor their "1 Year Warranty" with photos attached and never heard back. I guess they bought Columbia boots and took a hike. If I were British I would say these are absolute rubbish.Tell that ex-friend who recommended them. Make new friends and tell them. Gather a mob and storm corporate with torches and pitchforks, just don't let one more pair of these disappointing, shoddily made, overrated (I hesitate to call them) "boots" hit the trail.I beg of you.CameronChalfont, PAFIVE STARS - Simply the Best!Just got my second pair. So comfortable it’s helped my planter fasciitis. Great for long work days, hiking or my favorite, motorcycling. Will use hunting in mild weatherI was looking for new hiking boots and since Keen is one of my favorite brands, I thought I'd try these out. Only wore them a few times and was still in the break-in period when one of the top eyelets pulled out while tightening them up as I was putting them on. Not what I have come to expect from Keen, and pretty disappointed. They are being returned. I still like Keen, but do not recommend this model. The toe box was way too small. Perhaps a full size larger but not willing to try. Also there was a raised ridge at the bed of he toe. Bought a different brand from a store where they could be tried on for fit. These boots are quite comfortable and fit like typical Keens. However, after 4 weeks of daily wear, holes have appeared in the "flex" bellows of the shoe. This has made them useless in snow or rain. Very disappointingI've had them for 2 months. Waterproofing failed with 2 hours of rain. Still comfortable though but now the flex toe part has separated from the shoe.Fit is great. Very comfortable. After only five months of occasional use, the patented gusset between the laces and toe has torn making the shoes non-waterproof. That feature is very poorly done.Nicht der erste Wanderschuh von Keen. Deshalb wie erwartet ein toller Schuh. Guter Halt, Fußbett wird gut umschlossen. Ideal für meine Hunderunden.カジュアルな山登り用のシューズとして購入。多少ゴツいデザインですが、重さは結構軽いほうなので全然疲れませんでした。気に入ったので、街歩きでもたまに使用しています。近くの低山だけど、ほぼ毎日、急坂な山道を2時間10kmを目安に歩いている。仕事をリタイアして、約2年。丈夫な靴だが、さすがに1年間で3000Kmで履き潰し、今二足目。 keenのトレッキングシューズに出会って、歩くのが楽しくなった。
