My first pair of Keen’s !! They look bulky but once I lace them up I actually like how they look and feel ! I work long hours 11+Hrs standing and walking all day in the cold and wet surfaces and so far my feet are dry and happy !! If this boots last I would definitely order them again!! Good luck!!The fit is perfect for someone who needs a wide, roomy toe box. These shoes feel really good on my flat feet. Apparently the build in arch supports work!Ran a little to large compared to a model I bought a couple years ago and compared to similar models in stores.I will never buy this product and or boot again. I had this boot for 2 months. in first month sole detaching, poor fit while breaking in. Garbage! These arrived only a short time ago and I immediately put them on and began to run around the house, yard, go on a bike ride, etc. After a full day of running around in these I am surprised at how much I have enjoyed them. The fit is great right out of the box, they are snug at the top without being overly tight like most hiking boots I've tried. The cushion around the ankle didn't press heavily against the bottom of the tibia (medial malleoli) which always happens with every boot I've used over the decades of using them and many shoes. The toes area is so very, very comfortable. Plenty of room to let those cute little phalanges spread out and provide all the support you need. Adorable. The sole of the shoe is also very nice. Not perfect, but as close to it as I've ever had in a hiking boot. The heel is not nearly as tall as most other boots, or even many shoes. While not flat it has a nice comfortable lift that doesn't make me feel like I am being forced to walk as if there is a wind behind me, or to walk oddly with my knees weirdly bent just to keep from falling over. After running around the yard, house, back area with heavy growth, wet ground, rocks, etc. these shoes performed very well. I didn't have any real slippage except around smaller, loose rocks. Even then it was manageable and expected. After all that they still felt as if they had already been broken in. There was no heel, ankle, or foot pain where the shoe bends above the toes which is extremely unusual. That's never happened with any shoe I've owned before. I wore these on a 10 mile bike ride through an area that wasn't particularly demanding. Instead I pushed the bike hard to see how they would hold up with heat retention, comfort, and grip on the pedals. The heat wasn't too bad, but on hot days you're going to sweat more than you might want to. It wasn't uncomfortable and I expected this considering it was hot today (93F) and I was pushing the bike hard. The grip with these things while riding are excellent. They aren't coming off the pedals easily unless you go airborne. If you do your foots coming off anyway unless you using a clipless design. They grip well enough that I could really push the bike hard with a full rotation on the chainring instead of the typical downward force most people use when riding a bike. For the days when I am biking in bad or cold weather these wonderful boots are going to make it much easier to confidently ride through tough elements. The shoes did start to chafe near the end of the ride. Even though they felt broken it still needs to be done. Also, it was a hard ride (level of exertion) in new boots on a hot day; something is going to feel icky. I am really quite impressed with Keen's Circadia hiking boots. Right out of the box they simply felt good. That's never happened before and I am so happy I got these. My fashion-conscious wife and daughter are appalled by the wide chunky toe box and rugged construction of these boots. While they do look like moon boots, I got these for the primary purpose of day hiking and am not looking to impress anyone with my style in the wilderness. Straight out of the box they are very comfortable and don't really require any break-in period. They appear to be well made for this price and style of boot, and are much lighter than their appearance would suggest. While true to size, fit is better with a thicker sock (as a hiking boot should). The soles offer a good balance of cushioning, flexibility and stiffness for comfort and stability in rocky terrain; the minimal tread depth sheds mud and the soft rubber provides good traction, but that combination makes me wonder how long the tread will last. There is a fair amount of both cushioning and support at the ankle but these aren't the boots I'd choose for a long trip with a heavy pack. The membrane effectively keeps my feet dry on muddy trails while still allowing my feet to breathe a bit without getting too sweaty. Despite the appearance, these are good boots for overnights or day hiking; time will tell how they hold up.I've always trusted the brand, Keen, they have the sturdiest shoes around. I liked this Circadia model, right out of the box, I got a size 10 wide, it looks bulky at first glance. But upon wearing it, I find it very light and quite comfortable, fits perfectly well?. Keen never fails!! - I'll give it an instant solid five stars!
