this shoe is mainly all rubber with a little leather on it. it's primarily used for some deep snow or snow type activities (not snowboarding or skiing). i wouldn't recommend walking around in this all day it's just too clunky and awkward feeling. it does keep your foot warm and is pretty comfortable. good boot and quality materials none the less.need to shovel your driveway? Play with the kids in the snow? This is the coolest boot to do it in!Great general use boot, but don't snowboard in it!Runs pretty small though. I wear an 11 in Vans Slip Ons, and 10.5 in Vans Sk8-Hi shoes. I ordered an 11 in this boot and had to return it. I would say I'd definitely need a size 12 for this boot.Bottom line: order 1 size up from your biggest size Vans.Love these boots! They keep my feet dry & warm, and get asked about them nearly everywhere I go. I would recommend these to anyone interested in purchasing them.Order a size larger than neededThey were a gift. The recipient says they are super nice.Love them son and husband orderedThese we really well made and durable and Look great too! It needs to be said that these run small. I wear a 9 in vans shoes. I had to return two pairs of these because a 9.5 and 10.0 were both to small 10.5 we perfect. Other site recommend the same thing.... had to send them back as size felt like a euro 39. Hope it goes well either refund. The shoes themselves look soooo cool. I hope to find some in my size.
